SSAT, SAT & SAT II Tutoring Services
Our two most popular packages prepare students for the SSAT and the SAT. Unlike large companies that take a cookie-cutter approach, our small but diverse agency provides a sound academic grounding so that students can approach these tests with confidence. We also offer tutoring in all the major academic subjects, so we can prepare students to excel on the SAT II. We also prepare students for the Catholic school admission tests, the ACT, GRE, TOEFL, MCAT, and LSAT.
What Makes Beaven & Associates Different
Beaven & Associates aims to provide a strong academic foundation that will endure long after test day. With this goal in mind, we have created our own workbooks to accompany our tutorials. For example, although there is a writing section on the SAT that is graded largely on the student’s grammar, very few schools teach comprehensive grammar. That’s where we come in. We provide students with the grammar skills, test-taking strategies, and practice that are essential to scoring well.
After an initial evaluation, tutorials are scheduled at each student’s convenience, making the commute from Chelmsford worthwhile. Our SAT and SSAT test prep packages begin with 12 two-hour sessions, held once or twice weekly at the tutor’s and student’s mutual convenience.
